The staff was very professional from the very first contact. This is an airport hotel, where you arrive between flights. We had been awake since 4 AM and arriving there at 3 PM was heaven sent. The personnel at the counter acted as if they were expecting us exclusively, they handed bottled water to all family members, had our keys ready, knew our credit card was already on record. This all may seem minor, but we have had experiences at other hotels where the people behind the counter acted as if we did not even have a reservation, had to look everything up while we were waiting. At the DFW Grand Hyatt, the reception was the best, it is clear the management places a lot of emphasis on training and the value of the first contact. We arrived tired, our room and keys were ready, we were hungry and the bar had some of the best hamburger and wraps (impressive). After a nap, we went to the top and used the swimming pool and exercise room. Even the shower area at the gym was perfect, stocked with good quality personal hygiene products. We became hungry at 9 PM and the room service was prompt and the food was excellent. Had one of the best chocolate turtle cakes ever.

The beds are extremely comfortable. They had a portable crib for baby and toiletries. Water was given at check-in and is right inside the terminal near TSA. It's worth the money when traveling with baby. It dimished the stress and hassle of getting to the airport after a long night traveling. The restaurant inside the hotel was ok with a few vegan options .

Staff was professional and prompt in all of our interactions. Our suite was spacious and clean. Breakfast was one of the best we have had in an American chain hotel. Waitstaff in the restaurant was excellent. If you are flying American Airlines it is convenient to use this hotel as you can enter airport security directly on the level below the hotel.

Bed was supremely comfortable. Room was quiet and designed for relaxation. The bath and amenities were luxurious. The staff - from check in to restaurant to check out were awesome. Instead of worrying about a connection, we chose to relax, fly, stay and leave the next day, from a hotel within steps of the security gates. Why stress?
